Why do I need a land survey?
Land surveys are imperative for determining property lines and the features of the property. This is not only necessary
for the property owners to know exactly where the boundary of their property is, but also an imperative tool for many
projects the owners may want to accomplish on the property.
Without determining property lines and the location of a property's features, a property owner could have several
problems on their hands such as encroaching on a neighbor, not knowing where easements are on their property, and
having to move a feature or structure on their property. Not knowing your boundaries can also lead to lawsuits.
It is imperative that you know where your boundary lines are located and how much property you own.

What is a land survey?
A land survey can be a number of different products depending on your needs. Generally, land surveys are an "on the ground" property line staking to show where your property lines are located. Land surveys can also be a drawing or map of the property
that shows all of the important features, dimensions of the property, the locations of any buildings, and any property improvements.
There are several different kinds of surveys, depending on the needs of the client. What the survey is needed for will determine what
type of survey is required.
